JOSE ABDON TORRES
EDINBURG – Jose Abdon Torres, 70, passed away Friday, June 23, 2023, at McAllen Medical Center.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ascension Torres and Antonia Rangel.
Mr. Torres is survived by his wife, Maria Magdalena Estrada; five children, Maria Magdalena Torres, Susana Figueroa, Beatrice Escobedo, Jorge Torres, Ana Torres; 24 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three siblings, Gregorio Torres, Bartolo Torres and Antonio Torres.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place 9 a.m. Monday, June 26, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Donna.
