Joyce J. White

ALAMO- Joyce J. White was born in Norborne, MO on April 9, 1933 and passed on January 21, 2024, at the age of 90, in McAllen, TX.

Joyce was a lifelong member of the LCMS church. 

She is survived by one son, Forrest "Frosty" (Colleen) White of Alamo, TX; three grandchildren, Michael (Kat) Goedecke of Alamo, TX, Marie (George "Geo") Echeverria of Pharr, TX, Alex White of Alamo, TX; and one great-grandson, Alex Echeverria of Pharr, TX.

Interment of cremated remains will take place 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Mercedes, TX. Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Alamo, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to dementia/Alzheimer's research.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
