SAN JUAN - Ricky Juarez, 44, died Sunday, March 28, 2010 at his residence in San Juan.
Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico, Mr. Juarez was formerly of Minnesota and had lived in San Juan since 1994. He was owner/operator of JR Garage Doors in San Juan.
Mr. Juarez is survived by his wife, Elva U. Juarez; three children, Jeanette Nicole Juarez, Erica Juarez, Ricardo Juarez, Jr., all of San Juan; his father, Eliseo Juarez and mother, Teresa (Pablo) Carlos, both of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico; brothers and sisters, Jose Luis (Letty) Juarez of Pharr, Jose Alfredo (Mary) Juarez of Mexico, Eliseo Juarez, Jr. of Tampa, Florida, Blanca Elena (Gabriel) Garcia of Albert Lea, Minnesota, Mario Alberto (Alexandria) Juarez of Pharr, Bertha Yolanda Tobin of Little Rock, Arkansas, Sylvia (Melissa Moore) Juarez, Sara Juarez, Antonio (Sandra) Juarez, all of Houston, Texas; and maternal grandmother, Nacha Diaz of Veracruz, Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 30, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Cremation will take place Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
