Raymond "Ray" Knox

RAYMOND "RAY" KNOX EDINBURG - Raymond "Ray" Knox, 88, went to be with the Lord Friday, April 18, 2014, at Lifecare Hospital-North in McAllen. Born in Blackford County, IN he had lived in Edinburg for the past 10 years of his life. He is preceded in death by a son, Ron Brewer; four brothers and four sisters. Ray is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorotha L. Knox of Edinburg; five children, Marti Knox of Seattle, WA, George (Karen) Knox of Alabama, Raymond Knox, Jr. of San Diego, CA., Gene (Dena) Brewer of Shelby, NC, Jim Brewer of Atlanta, GA; a grandson, Dustin Brewer of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 7 p.m. memorial service today, April 19, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
