MARIA LOZANO KORTZ
McALLEN - Maria Lozano Kortz, 88, died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Mrs. Kortz was born in El Capote Ranch, Texas (Pharr) and had lived in McAllen most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Conrad Kortz in 1984; two sisters, Maria Cantu Hernandez, Eloisa Lozano Garcia; and four brothers, Jose Cantu, Rafael Cantu, Juan Cantu and Edelmiro Lozano.
Mrs. Kortz is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, February 4, 2011, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Saturday, February 5, 2011, at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at El Capote Cemetery in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
