FRED G. KUEFFNER
PHARR - Fred G. Kueffner, 90, died Monday, October 3, 2016, at his residence in Pharr.
Mr. Kueffner was born in Salt Lake City, Utah where he had lived most of his life, and lived in Pharr for ten years. He was a veteran of the US Navy and served during WWII.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marie Kueffner; and a brother.
Fred is survived by his wife, Ella Evelyn Kueffner of Pharr; four children, Ella Marie (Saul) Reyes of Alamo, Joanne Minakhom, Carol Lynn (Adrian) Rueda, both of Vernal, Utah, Valerie (Dave) Berry of Midland, Texas; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; eight sisters; and a brother.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, October 6, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9:30 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2016 , at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
