Eliezer Labrador

ELIEZER LABRADOR McALLEN - Eliezer Labrador, 92, died Saturday, January 25, 2014, at McAllen Medical Center. Born in the Philippines, he had lived in McAllen most of his life. He is preceded in death by three brothers, Ruben Labrador, Manuel Labrador, Jeremiah Labrador; two sisters, Thelma Labrador and Dolores Saavedra. Mr. Labrador is survived by his wife, Amparo Labrador, of McAllen; five children, Cynthia (Ben) de Chavez, Edna (Sony) Carino, both of Houston, Flor (Jessie) Morales, of the Philippines, Eleanor Labrador, of Canada and Darlene (Pops) Zambales, of McAllen; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cypress L. Sunga. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7:30 p.m. service Thursday, January 30, 2014, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014, at Seventh Day Adventist Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
