RAMONA LARA ESTRADA
SAN JUAN – Ramona Lara Estrada, 84, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Born in San Luis Potosi, MX, Mrs. Estrada had lived in San Juan most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Estrada Sr.; two sons, Alberto Estrada Jr. and Rogelio Estrada.
Ramona is survived by 10 children, Fela (Roberto) Rivera of Kingsville, Celia (Aurelio) Lucia of Alamo, Ofelia (+Jose Luis) Martinez of San Juan, Tina (Miguel) Cedillo of McAllen, Esther (Fernando) Flores of Edinburg, Erasto Estrada, Yolanda (Efrain) Chapa, both of Alamo, Joel (Dora) Estrada of Alton, Janie (David) Casarez, Miranda Estrada, both of Edinburg; 20 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Felipa Lara De Leon and Paula Lara Palomo, both of San Luis Potosi, MX.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 7, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
