MARIA E. LARA
PHARR - Maria E. Lara, 93, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at her residence in Pharr.
Born in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mrs. Lara lived in Pharr most of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Domingo Lara.
Mrs. Lara is survived by her six children, Narda Lydia (Javier) Escobedo, Ana (Sam Beckman) Hinojosa, Domingo (Yolanda) Lara, Susan (John) Willars, Maribel (Chad) Mehling, Leticia Sanchez; three step-children, Sergio H. Lara, Azennette Saldana, Veronica Sotelo;15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, March 13, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
