DONNA - Juan B. Leal, 57, died Thursday, November 12, 2009 at his residence in Donna.
Born in McAllen, Mr. Leal had lived in Donna for the past 15 years. He was employed by Reys Auto Parts in Alamo.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Josefina Leal; a brother, Ignacio Leal, Jr.; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Mr. Leal is survived by his wife, Yolanda C. Leal of Donna; three children, Michael (Joni) Castillo of Burley, Idaho, Rick Leal and Jacob Leal, both of Donna; eight grandchildren; his father, Ignacio Leal, Sr. of Alamo; three brothers, Luciano B. Leal, Raul Leal, both of Alamo and Armando Leal of Austin, Texas; three sisters, Luciana Villarreal, Olga Guajardo, both of Alamo, Elva Leal of Edinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, November 15, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Monday, November 16, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
