MARIA ORALIA LEAL
SAN JUAN - Maria Oralia Leal, 78, died Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Julian Guajardo, Sr.; and a brother, Julian Guajardo, Jr.
Maria Oralia Leal was a devoted member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. She served the Lord as a communion minister and CCD teacher for many years. She also volunteered as a HOSTS tutor at Carman Elementary School. Maria Oralia was a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister and friend. She loved her children and granddaughters that brought her so much joy, always with a smile on her face. She cherished life to the fullest with her family, relatives and so many dear friends. She will be missed dearly and is now enjoying eternal life in the presence of the Lord.
Celebrating Maria Oralia's life on Earth are her children, Melinda (Francisco) Lara of San Juan, Jose Angel Leal of Grand Prairie, TX, Julian Jose Leal, of Los Angeles, California; two granddaughters, Melanie Lara (Oscar Lopez, Jr.) of San Juan and Courtney Leal of Fort Worth.
In loving concern for everyone's health and protection, Maria Oralia's rosary will be live streamed on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 6 p.m. The event link is https://evt.live/rosaryformariaoralialeal
Interment will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, January 22, 2021, at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.
The family gratefully appreciates the many prayers, words of kindness and love that have been shared with us.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
