RAUL LEAL SR.
SAN JUAN – Raul Leal Sr., 56, went home to our Lord Sunday, February 14, 2021, at his residence in San Juan.
Born in Pharr, Mr. Leal had been living in San Juan since 1990. He was a U.S. Army veteran with the 82nd Airborne Division and a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr.
Mr. Leal is preceded in death by his parents, Emeterio and Romana Leal.
He is survived by his loving wife, Raquel Q. Leal; four children, Raul Leal Jr., Francisco Manuel Leal, Sasha Michael Leal, Alexis Joshua Leal, all of San Juan; and seven siblings, Yolanda Reyes of San Juan, Rosalinda Martinez of Alamo, Olga Zuniga of McAllen, Rogelio Leal, Maria Leal De La Cruz, both of San Juan, Estela Roman of Chicago, IL, and Emeterio Leal Jr. of San Juan.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary Monday, February 22, 2021, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Military honors will be conducted by VFW post 8788 of McAllen.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
