Alfredo "Freddy" Ledesma

Alfredo “Freddy” Ledesma, 55, went home to our Lord Wednesday, August 29, 2018, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Alfredo was born in Hillsdale, MI. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple passions; boxing, quail hunting, fishing, traveling, and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose Baldemar & Maria Lucresia Ledesma.
Alfredo is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Vela Ledesma; his three daughters, Kaylee Ledesma, Kathryn Cantu, Kristina (Fernando Rodriguez Jr.) Cantu; his son, Robert Cantu Jr.; four siblings, Julia (Danny) Cervantes, Irene Gonzalez, Terry (Scott) Barrieau, Jose Baldemar (Rita) Ledesma III; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Friday, August 31, 2018, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, September 1, 2018, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Alaniz Ranch in San Isidro, TX.
