Jose "Chepo" Ledesma Jr.

JOSE “CHEPO” LEDESMA, JR. ALAMO — Jose “Chepo” Ledesma Jr., 68, died Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in Harlingen, Mr. Ledesma had lived in Alamo most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Maria Ledesma; three sisters; and an aunt. Mr. Ledesma is survived by his wife, Olga Ledesma, of Alamo; six children, Gabriel Ledesma, Melissa Ledesma, both of Alamo, Leticia Ledesma, of Hidalgo, Graciela (George) Cortez, of Austin, Alicia (Joe) Torres, of Pharr and Lorena Ledesma, of Dallas; six grandchildren, Laura Torres, Jarod, Alyzza and Amaryzza Ornelas, Davyn Acosta, Lizette Ledesma; and four sisters, Paula Flores, Porfiria Gonzalez, both of Edinburg, Maria Ledesma and Janie Ledesma, both of Pharr. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Monday, December 2, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
