VIVIANA LEDESMA
PHARR — Viviana Ledesma, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.
Viviana was a mother and father to her six children, who were her life motor. She enjoyed playing chalupa and cooking for anyone who would visit her. Her charisma will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Julia Turrubiates of Waupaca, WI.
Mrs. Ledesma is survived by six children, San Juanita Escobar, Edward Escobar, both of Channelview, TX, Rosendo A. (Yvette) Escobar, Esmeralda Escobar, both of Edinburg, San Ramon (Julie) Escobar, Elizabeth Escobar, both of San Juan; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three siblings, Jose Antonio Ledesma of Pharr, Diego Ledesma of San Juan, Manuela Hernandez of Pharr; and one aunt, Carmen Ledesma Martinez of Houston.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Thursday, February 11, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
