FRANCISCO DE LEON JR.

EDINBURG – Francisco De Leon, Jr., 77, died Thursday, November 4, 2009 at his residence in San Juan.

Born in Tyna, Texas, Mr. De Leon, Jr. had lived in Edinburg most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Norberta De Leon and his parents, Francisco and Natividad De Leon.

Mr. De Leon, Jr. is survived by two sons, Juan F. (Blanca) De Leon of Edinburg and Ruby (Dinah) De Leon of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Anita De Leon of Edinburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Fred De Leon of Earth, Texas and Daniel De Leon of Beeville, Texas and a sister, Minerva De Luna of Alamosa, Colorado.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, today, November 5, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Friday, November 6, 2009 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
