Guadalupe F. De Leon

GUADALUPE F. DE LEON MISSION - Guadalupe F. De Leon, 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Lupe was born in Mission on November 20 to Ernesto and Emilia Flores. Lupe enriched our lives with her kindness, wisdom, wit, humor, and love. She will always be in our hearts and memories and her spirit will be with us. Besides being a full time wife, Lupe also worked many years with Mission Head Start Program. She loved to travel but especially loved her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Ernesto De Leon, five children, Jose (Coleen) and Leo (Mona), Mary (Javier Vela), Noe and Isidro (Kastelly); six grandchildren, Thad, Crystal, Michael, Isai, Josue, and Noah; her brothers, Fernando, Ernesto and Armando; her sisters, Yolanda and Gloria; and her sister in heart, Maria C. De Leon. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, December 29, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 am Tuesday, December 30 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Mission. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
