JOSE PABLO DE LEON EDINBURG — Jose Pablo de Leon, 76, passed away to be with the Lord on Monday, July 16, 2012, at Comfort House in McAllen. Jose served in the US Army 101st Airborne Division for 5 years. He worked at McAllen US Postal Service for 30 years and retired in 2001. He is preceded in death by his parents Canuto and Antonia de Leon. Mr. de Leon is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sarah Young de Leon; three children, Audrie (Vicente, Jr.) Alvarez of Edinburg, Abbie de Leon of Austin, Texas, and Joseph de Leon of Edinburg; four grandchildren, Felix IV, Dakota, Kaitlyn, and Vicente III. The family would like to thank the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for all their services. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, July 18, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Cremation will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Military Honors will be conducted by VFW Post 8788 of McAllen. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
