JUVENTINO DE LEON
SAN JUAN – Juventino De Leon, 77, died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at San Juan Nursing Home.
Born in Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico, Mr. De Leon was formerly of Alamo and lived in San Juan. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish.
He is preceded in death by a son, Martin De Leon.
Mr. De Leon is survived by his wife, Petra De Leon, of Alamo; five children, Natalia (Arturo) Montanez, Petra Alicia (Alberto) Sanchez, Juventino (Linda) De Leon, Jr., all of Lake Jackson, Texas, Nancy (Armando) Cardoza, of Alamo, Alejo (Gina) De Leon, of Pharr; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Elias De Leon, of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico; three sisters, Rafaela Cano, of San Juan, Blanca Arreola, of Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico and Alicia Diaz, of Pharr.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 pm, with a 7 pm rosary today, September 10, 2010, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 am Saturday, September 11, 2010, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. His grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Comfort House, 617 Dallas, McAllen, Texas 78501 or to San Juan Nursing Home, 300 N. Nebraska, San Juan, Texas 78589.
