OSIEL "OZZIE" DE LEON
EDINBURG - Osiel "Ozzie" De Leon, 54, moved on to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 22, 2012, at Mission Regional Medical Center.
Born in Edinburg, Mr. De Leon had lived there all of his life and was a member of Life Ministries in Edinburg. He was employed by United States Department of Agriculture in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his father, Rafael De Leon.
Mr. De Leon is survived by his wife, Angelita De Leon; a daughter, Krystyne R. De Leon, his mother, Maria Cristina De Leon, all of Edinburg; nine siblings, Florinda (Lupe) Hernandez, Sylvia (Alfredo) Garcia, Jaime (Esther) De Leon, all of San Juan, Rafaela (Reynaldo) Cantu, of Alamo, Juan (Alicia) De Leon, of Waco, Texas, Margarito (Cora) De Leon, of Houston, Texas, Rafael De Leon Jr., Miguel Angel (Martha) De Leon, both of Plant City, Florida, Sandalio De Leon, of Edinburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A prayer service was held Friday, February 24, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. today, February 25, 2012, at Life Ministries in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
