LUCILA LOPEZ LEOS
PHARR – Lucila Lopez Leos, 67, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at Solara Hospital in McAllen.
Mrs. Leos was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and had lived in Pharr all of her life. She was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Amado Leos Sr.; two sons, Roberto Lopez and Jose Luis Leos; her father, Reymundo Lopez Sr.; and four brothers.
Mrs. Leos is survived by six children, Sylvia Leos (Jaime) De La Cerda , Amado Leos Jr., Ana Bertha (David Martinez) Chavez, Norma (Pablo) Chavez, all of Pharr, Lydia (Fabian) Rojas, of Detroit, Michigan, Sandra (Roel) Saavedra, of Mission; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her mother, Virginia Rios Lopez, of Idaho; five brothers, Guadalupe Lopez, of Edinburg, Reymundo Lopez Jr., of Idaho, Jeronimo Lopez, of Pharr, Juan Lopez, of San Antonio, Texas, Francisco Lopez, of San Juan; and five sisters, Catalina Godina, Josie Lopez, both of Idaho, Lala Garza, of La Joya, Bennie Soto, of Edinburg, and Virginia Luna, of McAllen.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, April 22, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2012, at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Hidalgo City Cemetery.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
