LILIA A. BROWN

ALAMO – Lilia A. Brown, 90, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Brown; son, Richard Brown, Jr.; parents, Fidencio Alanis Leal and Manuela Tamez De Leon; four siblings, Aurelio Alanis, Maria De la Luz Trevino, Victoria Alanis de Huerta, and Samuel Alanis. Lilia is survived by her daughter, Nelly White; three grandchildren, Michael Brown, Priscilla Thatcher, and Brandon Lee White; two great-grandchildren, Gabriella Campos and Christian Figueroa; two great-great-grandchildren, Daisy Garcia and Ivy Campos; and her sister, Ofelia Leal.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Guadalupe Cemetery. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
