ALFONSO LIMON He peleado la buena batalla, He acabado la carrera, He guardado la fe. Timoteo 4:7 PHARR – Alfonso Limon, 71, died Friday, November 29, 2013, at his residence in Pharr. Born in Cadereyta Jimenez, Nuevo Leon, he had lived in Pharr since 1984 and was a member of Centro Cristiano Libertad. He is preceded in death by a son, Fermin Limon; and a brother, Juan Limon. Mr. Limon is survived by his wife, Lucila Limon, of Pharr; eight children, Rolando Limon, of Alamo, David Limon, Sonia Limon, Jose Limon, all of Edinburg, Alfonso Limon Jr., Isaac Limon, both of Pharr, Alejandro Limon, of Donna, Ismael Limon, of McAllen; 29 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six brothers, Lorenzo Limon, Guadalupe Limon, Jose Limon, Felo Limon, Jorge Limon, Alberto Limon; and a sister, Hilda Limon, all of Mexico. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, November 30, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, December 1, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
