ALAMO – Lionirez H. Ramirez, 78, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at her residence, in Alamo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray Pena Ramirez; her daughter, Julia Leal; her granddaughter, Hope Marie Ramirez; her parents, Juan Hernandez and Santos De leon Andrade; and her brother, Juan Hernandez Jr. Lionirez Ramirez is survived by her children, Jeronimo (Claudia) Ramirez, Ray († Norma) Ramirez Jr, Aurora (David) Aguilar, all of Alamo, and Leo († Maria Guadalupe) Ramirez of Edinburg; her six brothers and seven sisters; numerous grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024, and 9 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2024 with a 6 p.m. prayer service at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral Service will take place at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
