ANTONIO T. LOPEZ
PHARR – Antonio T. Lopez, 85, entered rest Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Amara Hospice Facility in Edinburg.
Born in Anson, TX, Mr. Lopez had lived in Pharr most of his life and was a member of La Trinidad United Methodist Church in Pharr. Tony will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. His grandchildren meant the world to him and he always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile of his face when he was with them. He will be missed by his family and all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his son, Marco Lopez.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lydia Lopez; two devoted sons, Leroy Lopez, Albert (Marcy) Lopez, both of Edinburg; five grandchildren, Cory, Aria, Azrael, Abram, Arman; one great-granddaughter, Cora; sister, Denise Villarreal; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral in San Juan.
