ARMANDO LOPEZ, SR.
SANTA ELENA - Armando Lopez, Sr., 67, died Saturday, February 25, 2012, at Trisun Care Center - River Ridge in Corpus Christi, TX.
Born in Edinburg, Mr. Lopez had lived in Santa Elena most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Chaita Lopez, his parents, Roman and Lilia Lopez; a brother, David Lopez; and a sister, Olga Villarreal.
Armando is survived by four children, Linda (Elias) Lopez of Fort Worth, TX., Lori (Frank) Soriano of Monett, MO, Armando Lopez, Jr. and Lisa (Omar) Villarreal of Corpus Christi, TX.; nine grandchildren, Frankie, Andrew, Alan, Caroline, Victoria, Audrey, Andrea, Erick, Nicolas; four sisters, Celia Anzaldua of Edinburg, Naida Cantu of Houston, Becky Farias of Harlingen, Nelda Lopez of McAllen; and one brother, Roman Lopez of Austin.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, February 27, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2012, at San Isidro Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Lopez Cemetery in Santa Elena, TX.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
