DELFINA D. LOPEZ EDINBURG/HARGILL - Delfina D. Lopez, 87, died Monday, December 10, 2012, at Las Palmas Health Care Center in McAllen. Mrs. Lopez was born in La Jara, TX and lived in the Edinburg and Hargill area most of her life. She was employed at the Museum of South Texas History in Edinburg for many years. Delfina is preceded in death by her husband, Gregorio Lopez; sister, Teodora Gonzalez. She is survived by her son, Leonel Lopez of Fort Worth, TX; two daughters, Gloria (Jaime) Ramos of Edinburg and Rose (Charles) Banker of Houston, TX; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Mario Davila of San Juan; one sister, Zenia Davila. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 11, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Valle de la Paz Cemetery in Hargill. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
