DOLORES P. “LOLITA” LOPEZ

ALAMO – Dolores P. “Lolita” Lopez, 88, died Sunday, September 5, 2010, at San Juan Nursing Home.

Born in Nordheim, Texas, Mrs. Lopez had lived in Alamo most of her life and was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. She lived a happy life and love life. She was a great and wonderful mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed. I love you Mom and I know you will always be looking after us. – Love Lollie

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ambrosio Lopez Sr.; her mother, Concepcion G. Perez; her father, Deciderio Perez; two daughters, Hortencia Lopez and Victoria M. Gonzales; a son, Ambrosio Lopez Jr.; a grandson, Samuel Ramirez Jr.; and a sister, Elida Perez.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by two daughters, Gloria L. (Gilberto) Nino of Alamo and
Adelaida L. (Rudy) Lopez of Houston, Texas; a sister, Juanita P. Guerra of Alamo; four granddaughters, Sandra (Dennis) Lester, Kristy (Bo) McInnis, Luke Andrew McInnis, Kathy Lopez, Norma (Jose) Perales, Gilberto (Anita) Nino Jr., Johnnie Lopez and Alexander Juan Lopez; a nephew, Trinidad Lopez Jr. of San Juan; two great-granddaughters, and four great-grandsons.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 6, 2010, at resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Funeral service will be at 9 a.m.
Tuesday, September 7, 2010, at Resurrection Catholic Church in Alamo. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Alamo.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
