EVA LOPEZ EDINBURG - Eva Lopez, 85, died Friday, March 20, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. She has gone to dance in heaven with our daddy. Born in Donna, Mrs. Lopez had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She and her husband Esteban Lopez were the original owners of El Ranchito Cafe located off of Alamo road. She is preceded in death by her husband, Esteban Lopez, Sr.; a daughter, Sylvia Lopez Garcia; two sons, Samuel Lopez and David Lopez. Eva is survived by four sons, Pablo (Yolanda) Garza of Louisiana, Esteban (Janice) Lopez, Jr. of Brentwood, CA, Danny Lopez, Steve G. (Monica Salas) Lopez, both of Edinburg; two daughters, Rosie (Willie Hinojosa) Ybarra and Vanessa Lopez, both of Edinburg; 38 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, March 22, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, March 23, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
