EDINBURG – Herlinda Lopez, 63, died Friday, August 05, 2011 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
Mrs. Lopez was born in Edinburg and lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Teresa De Luna; one sister, Gloria Iglesias; one brother, Jose De Luna; late husband, Isaac Luevano; one nephew, Jaime Lopez; and step daughter, Zelda Lopez.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband, Carlos A. Lopez of Edinburg; five children, Sandra (Mark) Medina of Edinburg, Omar Luevano of McAllen, Roy (Jeana) Luevano of Corpus Christi, Isaac (Amanda) Luevano Jr. of Edinburg, and Diego Lopez of Kileen, Texas; six grandchildren; four siblings, Justo (Susie) De Luna, Josie (Ray) Gonzalez both of Edinburg, Rodolfo (Tina) De Luna, and Arnold (Mary) Espericueta both of San Juan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held today, August 7, 2011 from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary at Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, August 9, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
