LUISA LOPEZ ALAMO — Luisa Lopez, 86, died Monday, July 15, 2013, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. Mrs. Lopez was born in Pharr, Texas and had lived in Alamo most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul Lopez; and a son, Raul Lopez, Jr. Mrs. Lopez is survived by four daughters, Rosa (Rogelio), Rosaria (Felix), Rebeca (Albert) all of Alamo, and Raquel (Rogelio) of Edinburg; eight sons, Rogelio (Gloria), Roberto (Julia), Refugio, Rodolfo (Paula), Ricardo, Pablo (Norma) all of Alamo, Febronio (Claudia) of North Carolina, and Rosendo (Eva) of Georgia; 32 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leonardo of Mexico, and Jose of Pharr; two sisters, Juanita and Maria De Jesus both of Pharr. Visitation will be held 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, July 17, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013, at Templo Inspiracion Pentecostes in Alamo. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
