ALAMO - Mateo G. Lopez, 87, died Monday, April 10, 2023, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mateo Lopez, Sr. and Felicita Garza.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife, Paz Mireles; step-son, Domingo (Margarita) Trevino; four step- grandchildren, Gerald Trevino, Deborah Trevino, Omar Trevino, Pricilla Trevino; six step-great grandchildren, Steven Trevino, Alex Trevino, Benjamin Trevino, Nicol Trevino, Brianna Trevino, and Juan Trevino.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., with a 6 p.m. rosary, Thursday April 13, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m., Friday, April 14, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Burial will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
