RENE MORA LOPEZ PHARR — Rene Mora Lopez, 71, died Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. He is preceded in death by his parents, Juanita and Ramon Lopez; one brother Samuel Lopez; two sisters, Ernestina Solis and Consuelo Leal. Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife, Hortencia Solis Lopez of Pharr; four daughters, Yvonne (Guillermo) Uresti of Edinburg, Belinda Lopez, Virginia Herrera, both of San Juan, Melissa Lopez of McAllen; and a son, Rene Lopez, Jr. of Pharr; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Aurora Uresti of Pharr, and Martha Salinas of Dallas, TX. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, January 5, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2015, at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
