SALVADOR LOPEZ
MISSION – Salvador Lopez, 76, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017, at his residence in Mission.
Born in General Teran, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, he had lived in Mission since 1975.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Encarnacion and Maria Lopez; two sisters, Hortencia Tamez and Elida Lopez.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his wife, Enedelia Lopez of Mission; six children, Salvador (Modesta) Lopez, Jr. of Mission; Rolando (Teresa) Lopez of Pharr, Nereida Lopez (Luis) Singleterrry of Edinburg, Jesus (Cynthia) Lopez of Mission, Noelia (Leonel) Gonzalez of McAllen, Gerardo (Judith) Lopez of Alton; nine grandchildren, Vianney Lopez, Salvador Lopez, III, Alondra Lopez, Jimena and Jesus Lopez, Rolando and Roel Lopez, Leonel Gonzalez, Natalia Singleterry; three siblings, Pablo Lopez of General, Teran NL, Mirtala Duran of Weslaco and Gilberto Lopez of General Teran, NL.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12 noon Friday, November 24, 2017, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Interment will follow at Lord and I Cemetery in Palmview.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
