Santos Lopez

SAN JUAN —Santos Lopez, 72, died Saturday, July 14, 2012, in Mexico. Born in Coahuila, Mexico, she had lived in San Juan since 1978 and was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her husband, Gilberto Lopez, of San Juan; three sons, Reynaldo Alonso (Cristina) Quiroz, Juan Antonio (Sylvia) Lopez, both of Reynosa, Francisco Javier (Marcia Corina) Lopez, of Pharr; a daughter, Blanca Oralia Rodriguez, of San Juan; and eight grandchildren, Gilberto Rodriguez, Eric Lopez, Alexandra Lopez, Gilberto Quiroz Benavidez, Juan Jesus Quiroz, Jose Antonio Quiroz, Reynaldo Alonso Quiroz Jr. and Francisco J. Quiroz. Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, July 17, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at San Juan Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
