PHARR - Dalia R. Lorenzo, 87, died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at St. David's Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, Texas.
Born in Sharyland, Mrs. Lorenzo had lived in Pharr all of her life and was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Delfino Lorenzo, Sr.; two brothers, Hipolito Rodriguez and Orlando Rodriguez.
Mrs. Lorenzo is survived by five children, Esmeralda Lorenzo of Pharr, Blanca (Raul) Adams of Austin, Texas, Sylvia (Richard) Ashlin of Chandler, Arizona, Delfino (Yadira) Lorenzo, Jr. of Cedar Park, Texas and Rick (Gina) Lorenzo of Round Rock, Texas; six grandchildren, Luiz Adams, David Ashlin, Lucinda Ashlin, Esteban Lorenzo, Alyssa Lorenzo, Kelli Lorenzo; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was loved by all and we will really miss her.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, February 19, 2010 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Pallbearers will be Rick Lorenzo, Delfino Lorenzo, Jr., Raul Adams, David Ashlin, Mario Rodriguez and Jesus Mendoza. Honorary pallbearers will be Luiz Raul Adams and Esteban Lorenzo.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
