BERTA LOZANO ALAMO — Berta Lozano, 77, died Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center. Ms. Lozano enjoyed gardening, the outdoors and the company of her family and friends. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving, which she loved celebrating with her family. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Cameron. Berta is survived by four children, Baltazar (Alicia) Reyes, Jr. of Weslaco, Eliazar (Marie) Lozano of Edinburg, Carlos and Manuel Reyes, both of Mexico; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
