EDINBURG - Otila Lozano, 76, died Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Edinburg, Mrs. Lozano had lived there all of her life.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raul Lozano; a brother, Severiano Salazar; two sisters, Eva Garza and Isabel Guzman; and her parents, Aurelio and Ramona Salazar.
Mrs. Lozano is survived by six children, Mary Lou (Ramiro) Recio of Baytown, Texas, Emma (Ricardo) Rendon of McAllen, Roberto (Christina) Lozano, Dina (Robert) Alaniz, both of Edinburg, Noelia (Ruben) Rendon of Angleton, Texas and Joe (Karina) Lozano of Pharr; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bertha Rodriguez; and three brothers, Gilberto Salazar, Adan Salazar and Aurelio Salazar, Jr., all of Edinburg.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service, Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
