ANASTACIO “TITO” LUERA, JR. SAN JUAN — Anastacio “Tito” Luera, Jr., 58, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015, at McAllen Heart Hospital. Born in McAllen, he had lived in San Juan all of his life. Mr. Luera is preceded in death by his father, Anastacio Luera, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Christina Luera of Pharr; two brothers, Ramiro (Norma) Luera, Sr., Rogelio (Dinora) Luera, Sr., both of Pharr; three sisters, Norma L. Cortez, Irene (Juan) Alvarez, both of Pharr, Maria (Joe) Sloss of Alamo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Sunday, November 8, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, November 9, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of San Juan.
