LYDIA ALBESA LUERA EDINBURG – Lydia Albesa Luera, 68, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 in Mission. Born in Edinburg, Mrs. Luera had lived there most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Canuto and Sylvia Perez. Mrs. Luera is survived by her husband, Vivian Luera of Edinburg; three children, Rene Tomas Ramirez, Jr., Mario Alfredo Ramirez, Abel Ramirez; 16 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary, Sunday, May 3, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Cremation will take place at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
