HILARIO “LALO” LUMBRERAS
Edinburg - Hilario “Lalo” Lumbreras, 71, entered eternal rest on Saturday, April 10, 2010, at Edinburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in San Jose De Las Flores, N.L., Mexico, Mr. Lumbreras had lived in Edinburg most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Bardomiano and Maria Cruz Lumbreras; and a sister Placida Reyna.
Mr. Lumbreras is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rogelia Lumbreras of Edinburg; two sons, Hilario (Sonia) Lumbreras of Sugarland, Texas and Deo (Lisa) Lumbreras of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Irene (Christian) Iversen of Sugarland, Texas, Dina (Roger) Beck of Houston, Texas and Diana (Jaime) Delgado of Edinburg; seven grandchildren; a great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews; four brothers, Bardomiano (Isabel) Lumbreras of Independence, Oregon, Belisario (Olga) Lumbreras of Edinburg, Aaron (Lisa) Lumbreras of Mission and Francisco (Diana) Lumbreras of Edinburg; eight sisters, Simona (Jesus) Urena and Paula (Marcelino) Gomez, both of Burley, Idaho, Claudia (+Lauro) Torres of Dr. Arroyo, N.L., Mexico, Carmen (+Abel) Salinas of Edinburg, Graciela (Santos) Garcia of Silverton, Oregon, Estela (Domingo) Rodriguez of Haines City, Florida, Mary (Esteban) Landeros of Edinburg and Rosa Lumbreras of Monmouth, Oregon; and a brother-in-law, Atanacio Reyna of Dr. Arroyo, N.L., Mexico.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary, today, April 11, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 East Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Monday, April 12, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
