JUANA LUNA EDINBURG – Juana Luna, 73, died Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in Edinburg Born in Mexico, Mrs. Luna had lived in Edinburg most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Adolfo Luna. Mrs. Luna is survived by three sons, Miguel (Guadalupe) Vargas, Javier (Sandra) Vargas, Arturo (Lourdes) Vargas, all of Edinburg; five daughters, Alicia (Jose) Trejo, Patricia (Javier) Trejo, Guadalupe (Jose) Torres, all of Edinburg, Lucia (Alfredo) De La Rosa of Pharr, Nora Pena of Edinburg; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
