PHARR – Maria Guadalupe Luna, 70, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, in Pharr.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Moises Garcia and Delia Cepeda; and a sister, Melba Cruz.
Mrs. Luna is survived by her three children, Joe (Maggie) Luna Jr., Manrique (Leonides) Luna, Karen Dueñes; eleven grandchildren, Dustin Luna, Jolynn Luna, Joleeana Luna, Emily Partida, Aaliyah Luna, Eleiazar Luna, Alyza Luna, Elijah Luna, Andres Murillo, Ramiro Serna III, Madalyn Serna; eight siblings, Sergio Garcia, Rogelio Garcia, Moises Garcia Jr., Jose Garcia, Carlos Garcia, Cris Cervantes, Mercedes Garcia, Angelica Guajardo.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at La Piedad Cemetery in McAllen.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
