Flavia T. Macias

FLAVIA T. MACIAS PHARR – Flavia T. Macias, 84, died Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born in San Juan, she had lived in Pharr most of her life. Mrs. Macias is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Macias Sr.; parents, Isidro and Tomasa Torres; two brothers, Guadalupe Fonseca and Jose Torres. She is survived by seven children, Jose (Cristina) Macias Jr. of CA, Maria Bertha M. (Hernan) Jimenez, Enedelia M. (+ Manuel) Ledesma, Maria Irene M. (+ Patricio) Espinoza, Jose Simon (Nellie) Fonseca, all of McAllen, Juan Manuel (Leticia) Fonseca of Donna, and Norma Linda Macias of Pharr; 46 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren, three great-great- grandchildren; a brother Isidro Torres of San Juan; and two sisters, Santos Pecina and Eufemia Rocha both of San Juan. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 3, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2013, at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Magic Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
