IRINEO MALDONADO EDINBURG- Irineo Maldonado, 81, died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg. Mr. Maldonado had lived in Edinburg most of his life. He is preceded in death by a son, Irineo Maldonado, Jr. ; two daughters, Olga Aguirre, and Sylvia Maldonado. Irineo is survived by his wife, Diamantina Maldonado; two sons, Irineo (Nora) Maldonado, Jr., Jose David (Isidria) Maldonado; five daughters, Elva (Juan) Aguilar, Gloria (Alejandro) Garza, Rosa (Frank) Maldonado, Susie (Horacio) Palacios, Irma Maldonado all of Edinburg; 22 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, September 24, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at St. Joseph The Worker Catholic Church in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg. Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
