Jose David Maldonado, 50, went home to our Lord Sunday, December 24, 2017, at his residence in Edinburg.
Mr. Maldonado was born and lived all of his life in Edinburg.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jose David “Joey” Maldonado Jr.; his father, Irineo Maldonado Sr.; four siblings, Sylvia Maldonado, Irineo Maldonado Jr., Irineo “Eddie” Maldonado III and Olga Aguirre.
Mr. Maldonado is survived by his loving wife, Isidra Maldonado; a daughter, Rocio Rosales; a granddaughter, Jelissa Rubi Flores; his mother, Diamantina Maldonado; and six sisters, Elva Aguilar, Gloria Garza, Susie Palacios, Rosa Garza, Irma Maldonado and Nora Maldonado.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary today, December 27, 2017, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place Thursday, December 28, 2017, at St. Joseph the Worker in San Carlos. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
