ADRIAN MANCIAS
ALAMO – Adrian Mancias, 86, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Amara Hospice in Edinburg.
Born in Realitos, TX, Mr. Mancias had lived in Alamo most of his life. He was a truck driver all of his life. Mr. Mancias was a very family oriented man.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Atanacia L. Mancias; his parents, Julian and Apolonia Mancias; three brothers, Ramon Mancias, Eduardo Mancias, Genaro Mancias; and a sister, Virginia Landa.
Mr. Mancias is survived by six children, Diana (Benito) Zarate of Alton, Arnaldo Mancias of North Dakota, Dora Mancias of Alamo, Adrian (Esmeralda) Mancias, Jr., Nancy (Rene) Perez, both of Edinburg, Alberto (Maribel) Mancias of Alamo; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Guadalupe Mancias of California, Remijio Mancias of Pharr, Julio Mancias of Idaho, and Dolores Leos of Oregon.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. prayer service Thursday, February 12, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
