Manuela Hernandez

ALAMO- Manuela Hernandez,96, died Saturday, January 18, 2025, in Alamo.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Hilario T. Hernandez Martinez; her parents, Jose and Maria Escalante.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her nine children, San Juana Villarreal Moreno, Juana Garcia Hernandez, Herlinda Arredondo Hernandez, Elizabeth Rivera Hernandez, Yvette Barrera Hernandez, Maria Luisa Ramos Hernandez, Martha I. Flores, Jose Modesto Hernandez, Jose Hernandez; several grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m., with a 6 p.m. prayer service Monday, January 20, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in San Juan. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna. 

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
