RAMON MARES
ALAMO – Ramon Mares, 54, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at McAllen Heart Hospital.
Born in Alamo, Mr. Mares lived in Alamo all of his life.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda “Rosie” Mares of Alamo; three children, Raymon (Sandra) Mares of San Juan, Christopher Ray Mares and Jose Maria Reyes, both of Alamo; four grandchildren; his parents, Pedro Mares of Yakima, Washington and Ramona Mares of Alamo; three brothers, Juan (Mary) Gonzalez of Edinburg, Pablo (Oralia) Gonzalez and Pedro Mares, Jr., all of Alamo; three sisters, Esperanza (Jose) Garza, Delia Gonzales, both of Alamo, Adela Mares Gonzalez of Corpus Christi; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m., with a 7 p.m. rosary Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home, 311 E. Expressway 83 in San Juan. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
