MARIA B. MARTINEZ
EDINBURG – Maria B. Martinez, 92, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Martinez; two grandchildren, Ricky Requenez, Rolando Mejia Jr.; parents, Palemon and Ursula Bernal.
Mrs. Martinez is survived by her five children, Sylvia (Ricardo) Requenez; Daniel (Sylvia) Martinez, Diana (Gabriel) Becerra, Nilda (Rolando) Mejia, Gilbert (Janie) Martinez; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
